While the Bellus SkinPen employs small needles for this purpose, the Venus Viva™ takes a slightly different approach, using tiny pins to safely transmit heat via NanoFractional Radio Frequency deep into the skin. These devices, with pinpoint precision, create controlled micro-injuries. This action jumpstarts the body's inherent wound healing mechanisms, all while ensuring minimal cellular damage. The beauty of microneedling is its versatility – it can be performed with or without the enhancement of Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP). Skin Resurfacing

Venus Viva employs diminutive pins that introduce energy to the skin's surface securely, inducing minute injuries. As the body naturally mends these injuries, it rectifies visible signs of skin damage. Venus Viva™ MD skin resurfacing treatments work with tiny pins that safely deliver heat (via NanoFractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface.

  • FOR VENUS:
    Most patients receive 3-4 treatments per area. The exact number will depend on each individual person and the area being treated.


    FOR SKINPEN:
    Some patients only require a single treatment to achieve optimal results. However, most patients receive two or three treatments, spaced about six to eight weeks apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks, or acne scars, it is recommended to receive six to eight sessions at six-week intervals.

  • FOR VENUS:

    Treatments are done 4 weeks apart.

    FOR SKINPEN:
    Treatments should be done around 30 days apart.

  • FOR VENUS:

    You will feel tiny pins on your skin followed by a little zap. Your face will then feel warm, like a sunburn.

    FOR SKINPEN:

    While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating tip reduces discomfort, and the applied numbing cream makes the treatment tolerable.

  • FOR VENUS:

    Yes, but only for 24 hours post-treatment (or up to 5 days for more aggressive treatments), unlike lasers or other treatments where recovery or downtime lasts up to 10 days. Your skin will be red and sensitive for the first 24 hours.. After 24 hours, you may put on makeup and resume your regular skin care routine. You should always apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30) to maintain your results and prevent sun damage. Avoid rigorous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treatment area for the first 2 days after your session. Make sure to keep your skin clean and protected from the sun. Avoid any sort of tanning.


    FOR SKINPEN:

    Immediately after the treatment, you will notice a bright redness to the skin. On average, patients are red for about two to four days. Many patients heal completely as quickly as 24 hours.
