What to Expect
Before & After
Before Your Treatment
- Avoid exfoliating with active ingredients on your treatment area for at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
- Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session (do not wax or pluck).
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before treatment.
After Your Treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure after treatment and be sure to wear SPF.
- Avoid hot baths, massages, or any treatments that require direct contact with the skin for the first 2 days after treatment.
- Some redness and warmth in the treated area is normal and typically subsides within a few hours.
Results
Hair should begin to fall out approximately 1-3 weeks after your first treatment. Some people may see longer-lasting results, while others may need touch-up treatments to maintain results.
Frequency
Most people need 6-10 treatments per area to see significant reduction. Treatments are done 4-6 weeks apart for the face and 4-8 weeks apart for the body.
